This review is to highlight and warn all future online shoppers to never ever shop with Homeshop18 - a fraud website that is present only to loot the hard earned money of shoppers.
I had ordered a few items from them in early December and paid by Credit Card. Initially the items showed the status as "Verified" and then changed the status to "Shipment under process" within the next day. I was hoping for a delivery in 4-5 working days. However yesterday when I logged into the account the status has changed to "Refund under process". They have themselves changed this without intimating the customer.
Now I had to call them to ask whats the reason for cancellation. And they have the audacity to say it is "Out of stock". Surprisingly the same item was in stock for a good period of 10 days before it went off the shelves. They have kept my money interest free for all these days and are nor refunding at the last moment without even informing me. What fraud tactics.
These were gifts for Christmas / New Year to select people and now with both around the corner, it will be difficult to arrange for replacements.
Homeshop18 doesn't care for any customer or their preferences and decides as per its will. If there is an court for redressal I would like to file a case for deficiency in services.
I'll appeal to all to never shop with this fraud website and repent in the process. Better safe than sorry.
