If you want to be homeschooled...

I wake up in the morning.hearing the voice of the birds.laughter of kids and a smile on my own face! I am homeschooled.

growing up with nature.to be at home.without any tension.I am happy that I left schools! Infact, I am lucky to be homeschooled.I don't have to wake up at 5 am nor do I have to face the undue insult from teachers.

I have gone through a lot of ups and downs in my academic life till date. I have seen my name in the congratulations list as well as in the list of supplementary students.this is life. But what made this miserable was no one but school.an institute which gives the so-called education. Atleast, what I have experienced.after that.I cannot write any good thing about schools.

A year back.exact a year back.I was in school facing terrible insult, teachers plotting against me and trying to break my friendships.deducting marks from my paper unneccerily! What more could I have done except leaving the school which almost made me a mental patient.and when I enrolled for NOS(National Open School).I felt delighted.I felt thankful.to have found a place where freedom is the motto! Where students too are respected.I changed.yes.I changed, completely! I, then understood that life is worth living.it is not only rushing to your school, facing insults, completing homework and having loads of tension on your mind.

In India, private studies are not at all common. People from my colony almost screamed when they heard that I have left schools.yes.I had to face the initial disagreements from friends and some relatives but that was nothing in front of the freedom.I am enjoying today.

Homeschooling or taking up private studies, does not mean that you will have to compromise on the quality of content.or you are studying something different. Here are some details about NOS(National Open School){where I am studying now}:

About NOS

The National Institute of Open Schooling(NIOS) formerly known as National Open School(NOS) was established in November, 1989 as an autonomous organisation in pursuance of National Policy on Education, 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Open Schooling was origionally experimented upon since 1978 as a project of the CBSE and was later amalgamated with NIOS.It is partly funded by Government of India. Keeping in view the needs of target groups, the thurst is on providing more vocational and community - oriented education courses, than merely general and academic education.

It is not only available in India but some selected countries, also. Check the details:
