Ambassador had dominated the car industry for a long time in the early years. But now it has gone down. Now Maruthi is dominating it with 800, Alto, Zen, WagonR etc. Ambassador is a strong car compared to Maruthi's small cars and it has more space in it. But it is better for rough driving. It has a very poor shape. I think that the company should have tried to improve the looks of the car and make it more stylish so that more people may get interested in it.
It has now started disappearing from the roads due to this shape. If it wants to compete there are a lot of changes it requires to make. The mileage is not very bad and the acceleration too is not bad. The vehicle has proved it's stability and reliability in the early years. But it seems that it is not enough for improving the sales. I like this car if I don't look at it from the outside.
