I read it after I joined my Post Graduation course. Since then I am in love with this book. It has helped me in improving my grammar to a large extent.First published in 1936 it is an ultimate source of knowledge for English grammar. Its study plan is very simple and systematic.Parts of Speech are explained in details with good practice exercises. With every chapter your confidence gets a boost.
Besides grammar rules there are chapters on Idioms, Spelling Rules, and punctuation etc. There is a separate section for'Written Composition' containing chapters on Paragraph, Story, Letter, Essay, Dialogue and Biography writing. Further it has chapters on Reproduction of Story Poem and appreciation of Poetry too.
If you want to improve your grasp on English language, then you must read this book.
