Hello friends, yawn , in this beautiful world created by god and being destroyed by humans, during the World War II (1941), a person named 'Konrad Zuse'..Invented the first ever Modern Computer called the Z3.It was basically used for designing the airplanes, missiles and radars. After that time, many new inventions have taken place, there has been a drastic change in the technology and stuff......It's altogether a new world.

WHAT IS A KEYBOARD???

Keyboard is one major/essential part without which a Modern Computer is useless or you can say ineffective. It is a device similar to an 'Electronic Typewriter' consisting of various keys through which you can input data, control cursor and obliviously the whole workstation...This device was introduced in the market in the year 1930 after which people reduced the usage of typewriters.

COMPARISION (Based on personal experience)

Before buying this keyboard, I surveyed the market thoroughly and in the process found thousand's of brands into this buissness.So it was a real task ahead of me to choose a keyboard which came in my budget, was reliable and a branded one. So, I compared HP to many models in the medium category of other brands:

~~~I have tried out all of the following brands dude and dudi's~~~

1. Microsoft: Personally from the beginning I hate Microsoft products. Damn, Bill Gates needs make the products more reliable. My first keyboard (Microsoft One) stopped working within a year or so.

   
   




2. Logitech: Less Range of keyboards and are highly priced. Awkward designs.

   
   




3. Intex: Low quality, cheap but needs alot of care otherwise would create problems..

   
   

Finally after getting positive feedbacks, I went for Hewlett Packard Multimedia Keyboard. It’s reliable, got looks, somewhat cheap, warranty 3 years, maintenance free and hehe..suits my little fingers...:)

ABOUT THE MULTIMEDIA KEYBOARD

I bought it around 3 months back and am fully satisfied with it. This one is in Black and Silver Color Combination with 102 keys. The keys are indeed very soft and we don’t have to press them very hard. The alphabets, numbers there on the keys are highlighted and can be easily seen. The rubber material underneath the keyboard keeps it in it's place making it not move with a gentle push. Since it's a multimedia keyboard, there are several more keys placed just above the F1-F12 keys. Here’s a list of them:

a) Internet Key: As soon as you press it, the default internet browser opens and then you can directly enter the website address through the keyboard without the help of a mouse and start surfing.

b) Email Key: This one is only helpful for those who like using Microsoft Outlook though I don’t like it much. By pressing the key, it asks for the email address of the person whom you want to send the email.

c)Music Key: Press the key and yooooo my favorite player: ITUNES startes.You can also assign the key to start the music player of your own choice. The by using the mouse, select the song and listen to it. lol..:)

d) Search key: If you are in middle of some work and want to find a important file quickly there in your big big hard disk, then simply press this button. It opens the search window and then you can search for the desired file by typing it's saved name.

e) System Info Key: The name only suggests the meaning. On pressing it, full fledged, detailed system information with drivers version no is displayed in a tabular form.In one line: System Information At a glance.

f) Print Key: Want the printer dialog box to appear in front of you without going into the file options ?????, then simply click on this key and the system is ready for the printout.

So, I come to the end of the list of features, let's move on-------->

DRIVER AKA SOFTWARE

I found a great deal of difficulty to get hold of the driver. It never came with the product..Neither it was available in the market nor on the official HP website...dissapointing ):

WHO SHOULD BUY IT/WHO SHOULDNT?

People looking for a sober yet sophisticated product with mediocre features keyboard and a branded one should definitely GO FOR IT..(Mind You Scope for Improvement is there)!!!People looking for a hi-funda thing with extravagant features should not GO FOR IT !!.

SKINS/PRICE

As it's a HP product, the skins which help in protecting the keyboard from 'dhool mitti' are widely available in the market for as low as Rs 90..Many covers are also available but I find them useless.

So to sum it up,after all IT'S YOUR CHOICE, NOT MINE !!!
