After a gap of almost a year me and my cousin are back on Mouthshut, I mean there were days when he was consistently featuring in my reviews, So welcome back.
It was like a casual sms from him saying ''Drop into my place, I have to show you something'', well I went in with an air of excitement, what he wants me to show may be a DVD of Kisna, or what not and not what climbed my mind, I somehow got into the act and got myself picked by my Karizma down there, Well I saw a New Super Splendor with all Garlands and all but I was just presuming that this was his, Out came with a vibrant smile my cousin and made me gulp not 2 but 3 laddoos (They are sweet in taste and eaten at times of celebration), Ohh I was really happy of him doing so much. I said I think is this for the Bike, Well yes it was for the bike and out we were to ride and do some stretch tests (Hey I am talking about the Bike).
The Sarva Guna Sampanna Bike as they call it the Super Splendor

Well the new bike always interest any guy no matter its a Harley or a CT-100, atleast a guy will give a glimpse to it, So overlooking my Karizma I was fascinated of this, My mind went in a thought of Vedas Chanting and Man Dancing (not me kkk), and I thought as if this Bike has come out of some Mantro ucharan (Speaking of mantras).
The first Q that came to my mind after seeing the bike was Do you like the looks of the Bike? , asked me to my cousin, His ever reverberant reply was Yeah, I do, they are quite executive, Executive ????, Yeah, I am damn comfortable sitting on it dressed formal and commuting to office and other places while on work, Said my cousin. So I got the answer the Looks are OK to Above average but in comparison to TVS 125-GLX and Discover, umm I feel it pales. So combining me and my cousin's rating 6.5/10
So eversmart that I am, took the key and got my Buttock on the Seats to have a feel of the bike and See I think I am comfortable with the seating so 8.7/10 for Seating, and so did my cousin, btw his ratings for seating 10/10. HUH!!!
Petrol ka kya scene hai ? (Whats the Fuel like in the Bike?), Asked me, So So, replied my cousin, Now all MSians in our terminology So So means SOS SOS i.e. save our souls if we are stuck in the middle of the road without fuel, He told Reserve Lag Gaya hai (Its in reserve), I asked Kab laga tha (From when), Eventually we found out that it has been into reserve from 3 days, See how Reserved guys we are. Any ways me kick started the bike and as usual in a traditional Splendor mould it started in once
First Gear around 30 kmph, Second and Third followed fast so it was now 50 in around somewhere 9 secs and then the Fourth in a flash, it touched 65 in 11 secs, My Observant mind did all this calcus.., So Gear Shifting were as the name goes Splendorous , 10/10 from me and my cousin for that. I was fast and compared to previous splendor I was quite contented way it rode me so far, Engine ???, Asked me, 125 cc, Replied my cousin, Good that HH has finally brought something suiting the segment otherwise they bring such unusual CCs in the market which are in between but nowhere like say Ambition 133 cc and Karizma 223 cc. So it gives you what 124 something displacement at 9 BHP at somwhere 6900 rpm or more, I am not sure.
We roamed now around for 8 kms and the fuel meter showed below red sign, Still no signs of my cousin saying anything about refuelling as if its not he but me who owns the bike, This is where a point sparked off that this is perhaps the most Fuel Effecient in this segment, is it Yaar 62 ka Avg. aaram se nikal rahi hai(It gived 62 average),Said my cousin. So 10/10 for the Mileage, Just to tell you that this comes with 12 litres fuel tank and 1.5 ltr as usual for Reserve. Amazed by the fuel effeciency.
One nice girl passed by on her Honda Activa, Stop it near her, Said my cousin and I braked both the Discs and Drums, here I would like to tell you it comes with both 130 mm drums and 215 discs. So we had both. Braking was comfort as well. I saw a Fazer and Discover in the mean time and I was depressed by the way they looked, Why didnt you buy them, Asked me, I have never liked Yamaha and Discover DTsi , well Gear box and chassis drums are Chinese Imports so a strict no no to them, replied my cousin.
We roamed around and came back to the place with this time I touched the TOP speed which was above 90 but I did found it quite steady on the TS, Firing was better than the 100cc but somewhat dull as compared to Fazer, but its acceptable.
Kitne mein Uthayi (How much did it cost?), 53k, replied my cousin i.e. the full version and the bottom end costs somewhere around 42k. So as far as Price, I will give it 7/10, its bit on a higher side.
Thats it ride was over, I told him to enjoy the rides and please do give a visit to the Fuel station, He smiled.

I rode on my Karizma, I have no liberties as my cousin to actually ride it in reserve.
