Hello Friends,
I bought Hero Honda Passion in FEB. - 2002.
It clocked 10,000 KM till date. Last free service is still remaining. No hassles regarding maintenance till date. It is giving me mileage of 60 / LTR. In city and 70 / LTR. On highways.
Before deciding to go for Passion I did a good homework to take perfect decision. Like visiting different manufacturer show rooms, analysis of provided features and technical specifications, taking a test ride for better judgement etc.
After completion of my survey, I found PASSION is the most appropriate bike to fulfill my all requirements like Good Look, Mileage, Pick up, Low Maintenance Cost etc.
About PASSION we can say proudly ’’BORN IN STUDIO NOT IN THE FACTORY’’. I am very much impressed by its headlight shape and beautiful graphics. Its style is very unique so it is differ from other bikes clearly.
I am using my bike for my job between Jamnagar and Reliance Refinary aprox 60 KM daily. This route is always crowded with heavy traffic and road is also not good. But while driving this bike on this route , I feel very comfortable to handle even if in high speed. Its shock absorbers quality is really very good. I mean you don't feel what is happening between bad road and wheels. Its Multi- reflector Trapezoidal powerful headlight is very useful in night to see better traffic movement. I am not feeling tiredness in long drives due to is good cushioned sloppy broad seat. After clocked 10,000 KMs I had never paid single rupee for maintenance except its regular time interval service .
It is a perfect combination of style, performance and mileage. It is a complete bike for a common man's family. It has also good resale value in market after years.
Those guys who expects smashing pickup and blasting power then it is not made for them. It is a truly family bike not a race bike. This bike has very good balance between Power and Milage factors.
PASSION is actually a little bit upgrade version of SPLENDOR. So all features of SPLENDOR are automatically inherited in PASSION.
Even if there are 5 main technical advantages are available in PASSION, which are not in SPLENDOR.
Multi- reflector Trapezoidal Headlight for better vision.
Five Step Adjustable Rear Cushion for more comfort.
Wider Wheel Base and Broad Rear Tyre for more safety
More Kerb Weight for better handling.
Large Storage Space with Locking Facility.
Other non-technical advantages are as under.
Bigger petrol tank to preserve more fuel.
Sloppy seat design for good comfort in long distance journey.
Location of battery arranged under lock to avoid theft.
Three things which I don't like about Hero Honda company.
1 ) Very high price tag of PASSION and SPLENDOR. It should be pull down in tough competition days of two wheeler market.
2 ) Very expensive genuine spare parts compare to other manufacturer like Yamaha and Bajaj.
3 ) Very bad free or paid service provided at authorised
workshop. They just do the service because they have to do it.
No positive attitude from workshop manager about poor service even after focusing on this issue.
Overall I recommend this bike for those persons who wants all req. features in a bike like style, power and mileage.
I am sure you feel proud about your good choice after some years.
