ZmA..... Review on Hero Honda Karizma

This is my second review on this bike !!!

i just want to write all the good and bad points abt this bike for the newbies who want to own this bike !!!

This bike is very good to own and ride with an average mileage and a lil poor tyre on the rear and not so good handle bar !!!

I love this bike for its smoothness and the digital meters and the smooth shocks and the power you get frm the start till u toch 120 !!! u got the same feel even at the top speeds .... the head light is powerful !! and the sexy tail lights and the pillion seat is a lil uncomfortable but its ok if considered under looks !!

abt the after sales .. check out for the hero honda service centre they rule !! I mean to say they just dont have the difference between a spledour and a karizma ... they just play arnd with your bike like hell !!! u would never imagine how that handle ur sexy lil beast !!! I have experianced it !!! and service is ok !! my suggestion is to finish off ur free service coupons and then go out to a good mechanic !!!

the parts are a lil costly !!! and beware if u start ripping this beast frm the start u may get tappet problems and lotta vibrations !! but thers no chance of losing ur mileage .... I drove my bike on 100's for the first 10 days then took easy on it and then ... after few mnths ... when I drove the make at 50's it gave me 42 kmpl !!! when driven rash 23 kmpl is the maaaaaaaax it could give !!!

but the bike is really awsome !! no vibrations and looks perfect on any one !!! never take black in zma .. that colour is shading off soon ... ( ash , red , blue , yellow ) these are very good !!!

the rear tyre is very good at corners u can easily take corners at 110 and a bend at 60-70....... but when it comes to braking ... the tyre sux .... and mainly the rear braking assembly is itself not that good !!! to be frank I never rode a bike on indian roads with such a good frnt disc ...... its sooo good u'll just zoom and cruise at the speed 100 even in traffic .. u get that confidence !!!

front tyre is good and need not to be replaced .. the alloys are very good .... all the parts are the best in its class but kinda costly ... soo think of the bill b'for u start ripping !!!

the silencer sucks again ..... I like the smooth sound of this but .. I hell lotta vibrations where hero hinda cannot do anything abt this !!! the electronic start is the quickest and soo smooth u'll never know that the bike has alrady started .... and this bike can easily get modified !!

over all I could say this bike would be good for people who wants power , mileage ( if driven in 50's ) and good braking and safety !!!

only advice is to get urself a good mechanic !!

i got a problem with my camshaft as I kept on changing petrol bunks .... beware !!!

use a good additive when ever possible !!! frequent oil change is a must !!!

rear brake pads should be checked frequently !!!

rear tyre should be replaced if ur driving on wet and normal roads tooooo ...

and always note down the kms on ur digital metre b'for giving it to your service guy !!!

never even compare 150's with this bike ... if u want to take an apache thats totally different .....

and if u want to go for p180 dtsi .. then think of it !!!

and if u want to wait for new bikes then u got b'ful bikes like ( fazer 250 cc ) and ( cbz 180 ) !!!

and mainly p220 !! I tho hate that bike for its looks it may be advanced or what ever ... common yaar ppl write stuff in magazines ... who are onna read that and go buy it just like that ..... just imagine a bike fully empty from out side ... the front body kit sucks ... tooo small for the bike .. and the rear too high and very empty below ... it just looks like a modified bike for sure ....

any one can fix a rear disc , a mono shock , a frnt extra disc , an E.C.U , K&N AIR FILTER !!!!

ZMA by birth looks sexy !!! when fitted with these ... ppl will turn there heads !!! FOR SURE !!!

i agree that it got very good digital metres and good shocks and good set of tyres , a rear disc ..... but spending more than a lakh which still lacks power is worthless !!! buy a zma and spend 10-15k's on the extra fittings and u got the best bike !!!
