Although I registered today, I am not new to mouthshut. After reading a lot of reviews on mouthshut and other sites, i went for this bike....

I bought this bike on 27 october and I am writing my experience on this bike till date...

When I started this bike the engine was roaring and urging me to explore it..power and pickup is simply awesome.i have driven pulsar, unicorn, apache and hunk..Unicorn in terms of power is no match to these three above bikes.pulsar is a good bike in terms of power and mileage but it is too common on the roads and as of apache I personally dont like the looks and dont know reliabality of tvs engine so I chose to buy hunk...

I filled 3 litres of petrol and have driven hunk for about 40-50 kms and still the petrol tap is on ON inspite of 2.2 litres of RESERVE apart from the 0.75 lits provided by the showroom..so I dont have complaints about fuel efficiency.

Handling and riding is excellent and you can feel power in your hand.

The bike is very comfortable thanx to GRS...

The problems which I faced are-

1.the headlamp is not so bright so I am going to install xenon projector headlamps after 2-3 months

2.the rear drum brake is producing some kind of noise when it is applied at high speed..otherwise braking is good

3.horn is ok-ok type(not so loud)

4.absence of led tail lamp is a real letdown

5.second gear of this bike is 1.5 gear, it cannot fetch you to a conventional 2nd gear speed

6.No split rail grab

About the speedo, i like the analogue ones because your adrenaline gets flowing when you see the needles racing up with acceleration..

Another option was recently launched yamaha fz16..but I chose hunk over it because fz dont have leg guards and fuel tank is made of synthetic plastic resin.seating is very low..and the display panel(speedo, tacho) is a real mess(very small and congested and graphics oriented).

Thank you
