After pondering for about a month on all 100 cc bikes and test rides, I finally bought this bike on friday 18-6-2010. Anyway for freshers (buyers) there is no harm in test driving any bike to get its feel and then deciding before putting your hard-earned money.By this, u leave no room for any frustration.It's always my habit to test drive before any purchase
Now coming to my purchase of this CD deluxe--
The main things I was concerned before buying a bike --reasonable power in the bike and above all good mileage. Anyway there is no harm in test driving the bike to get its feel .
I had already driven this bike before so..went to the showroom and the guy took my DL checked it and then we went for a test ride. I simply liked the power this engine was giving and gear shift is smooth and less exhaust sound.Easily pulls 2 and doesn't cry. I immediately went and selected my bike from the stores and paid the amount. Bought a black & red streak one-looks damn good and smart this one. By the time, I followed the bike to the fitting of all accesories and
left the showroom on my new bike. I tell u this bangalore traffic is horrible. The self start thing in this bike is really a wonderful thing. no kicking and other traffic pain. I wanted to break away from bangalore..somehow left bangalore behind and hit the mysore road ...my favourite riding place . One thing ..the HH showroom had put about alitre of petrol. Reached ramnagar about 35 km from bangalore. The fuel gauge never lifted
the moment I left the HH showroom. The guy told me that it will lift when above 2.5 litres. I opened the tank lid and gave a good shake. there was plenty of fuel left. Then rip session started.. never mind driving at 40-50 range.since engine is new .. no stoppages no probs..no pucture , loaded 4 litres somewhere near srirangpatna to see the fuel gauge rising .., back to bangalore .... home... meter showed 280 >next day ...no fuel put just 1 lit and ripped....meter read ---425...
still lot of fuel left in the bike......
The bike doesn need a 1st service now , goes well , probably I will take after crossin 1000+km
guys dont wait ..go for it ....

it's week 2 after getting this bike.
No probs . crossed 950 km mark ---
Just tightened the chains. Still not done 1st service.
Planning to go later .
Long drive- giving a goodbuttck pain .It's mileage is about 65 /lit in long drives
Head lights are not powerful enough but are manageable.
But other vehicles headlights will black u out.
The tyres are thin with grooves design , canget punctured easily.
planning to go for a better and strong tyre typeafter some time.
No conecerns regarding engine, starter till now.

Answer to a comment by reader regarding price : hi thanks regs price - even I saw the price list in the hero honda url before buying.it was what u quote.
but in bangalore , it's higher price for all bikes compared to othercities.I don have the bill right now while answering this, i'll check and give exact figures later. As far as I remember vehicle cost was abt 45k+accessories 2k+add on warranty 550 +250 service charges + 300 for taking bike imprint for fast regn etc. till date , Still I haven't received the regn book/smart card but I got hold hold of the guy in showroom and got the number after 10 days of purchase.it's already over a month now. I don know how much time it will take ? guys pls u have any answer for this r/c book delivery, let me know , why it's so late?
Boss, when u go to the showroom , they extract in full from the customers telling this that & all bullshit. Note the extra added cost for the add on warranty and charges.
Iactually was thinkin of buyin splendor since many ppltold me that -it's cheaper spokes&no self start. All the category of hh 100 cc bike have the same engine , anyway I wanted a self start bike and my decision to take this one was excellent and I wanted it very badly .I took the alloy and self start one.
update till date : 3000 kms done. Mileage -superb avg-70 km/lit.engine sound is very less and nice and smooth compared to a splndorwhich makes more noise.changed oil after tolling 1000 kms.
hh oil cost -180 /-. haven't given bike for any hh service though due for 2& 3rd service. Got the chains tightened& oiledand bike washing by local mecs. I drive constantly at 50-70 range occasionally at 78-80 to make up sometimes .
No probs reg anything except seating which need to be cheked .it's like sitting on hard thing.gives pain in butks after a long ride.anyway got used to thhis pain now.I will chek if I can put a cushion type over onit. still I fear about the tyres for puncture in night drives .which I will replace soon with better & harder ones , maybe mileage can reduce by 3km approx. what guys ..!! i'll be back soon for another review

crossed 4100k and got it nicely serviced at HH service center, changed oils .(chrg : 300/-)
still mileage at 70+ , no probs absolutly running fine

go used to the seat , no no back pain, bye see u after 15000kms

back after a very long time done 21000kms , also got married in between
this bike very useful in rising petrol costs, mileage excellent averaging 68-70 km.
At 18000 km got a 1st puncture while returning from shrirangapatna and when I opened the tyre at the garage, the tube neck was blasted ,
the puncture was by a sharp nail in a different place of the tube , but the tube neck was blasted ? why ? maybe because of the drag after the puncture. anyway as I said initially in the review the stock tyre and tube quality sucks, so friends change the tyre &tube , go for a strong tyre /tube after the stocks wear out. anyway i got the tube changed. services done at hh service station . no problems . good sailing from the day I bought this bike.
really a good bike and no engine breakdowns . just keep the chains oiled and tight after evry 2300-2500 kms.
i strongly recommend this bike for anyone out there to buy a fuel efficient and sturdy good bike .

This bike as on today has completed 75000 Kms (In 2.5 years too fast isn't it).
what to do, I am drive crazy and go long places.
Regular service and genuine spares and oil shall ensure its life and longevity.
Mileage wise still going at about 65 per litre.
No major engine failures as of now.
