Far East Tour with Heena Travels. Review on Heena Tours and Travels, Mumbai

I went to far east tour (Singapore, malaysia and thailand - 9 days) through Heena travels.

1. The heena staff called me a day before depature saying that you would need to collect the passport tickets from mumbai ! I am located in pune and couldnt travel to mumbai a day before just to pick up the passport/ tickets. Finally my father had to pick the passport on my behalf. They did not courier because there was chance of delay in the service and that could have cancelled the trip. So the last moment anxiety ended when we had passport tickets in our hands.

   
   




2. We were on our honeymoon and on reaching the airport we found that the seat arrangement was not side by side (pathetic !). We had to exchange places with other good co-passengers and sit next to each other. This was real pain for all the flight jounerys during the trip.

   
   




3. The trip was overall okay. The tour guide in thailand was very good, the one in malaysia was lazy. They covered most of the standard places in these countries.

   
   




4. It gets tiresome, if going on honeymoon I wouldnt suggest this tour as there is extensive sight seeing.

   
   




5. Weather was really hot and humid in the last week of january.

   
   




6. They mostly served Indian food at Indian restaurants. There is no choice of trying local food.

   
   




7. Hotel rooms were okay, not so great Overall I think Heena is okay as I did the entire booking from telephone. They still need to plan well on delevering passport on time and have consideration about seating arrangements.
