When we were making a personalized booking, Heena offered 4 & 5 star properties and spoke high about their operations. However all of it is a farce. Though it was a personalized tour we were given meal coupons for their kitchens and they are the worst of the places that I have seen. A local udipi restaurant is far better than the kitchens that they operate (the one in Srinagar Grand Mumtaz is the worst).
In their parlance, vacation tours are like herding people from place to place and making them eat whatever they have to offer. It doesn't matter how the people feel and whether the quality meets their expectation or not.
The manager Mr. Ramu at Srinagar is a high headed guy who doesn't have time to meet its customers.
People booking J&K tours, beware, dont book Grand Mumtaz as you will be paying lot of money for no quality or service (the hotel itself has its own set of problems).
You are better off selecting and booking your own hotels using the different travel portals.
