Psst - This section will contain some inside trivia about the film.

Quotes - Good one liners from the movie.

Oops - Goofs From the movie.

Director - Guddu Dhanoa

Screenplay - Frank De Felitta (I forgot the name of the people who wrote this movie, Frank De Felitta is the person who wrote the book and the movie screen play for the entity and it is only right that he gets the due credit as a writer)

Another remake of an English movie. In a trend where horror Hindi movies are being made, another English movie has been remade. Flashback to 1981 when a controversial horror movie The Entity is released. The Movie was banned in India after a few weeks of its release here and was again re-released in 1999. Guddu Dhanoa remakes the Entity in 2003. Sanajana (Tabu) along with her 2 young daughters and her brother Vicky (Imraan Khan) moves to a new bungalow in the forests of Kulu Manali After her Husband Walks down on her. The Only glitch is that once a lightning strikes in the jungle at a spot which is considered to be a bad omen in the village. Soon she is brutally raped and sexually molested by unknown forces or what is considered to be An Entity. Her Friend (Grushaa Kapoor) suggests her to a Psychiatrist (Shahbaaz Khan) who suggests she must be suffering from a split personality syndrome but eventually sees that it is some unknown forces. He brings along with him a parapsychologist (Mukesh Tiwari) who may be able to help her. Even if it’s a remake (And thankfully Guddu ''Item Number and 10 songs per movie'' Dhanoa has not kept a single song) some of the rape scenes are very explicit and disturbing. The direction is superb at places and the movie is more scary then the recent bhoot. Definitely worth a watch and please make it a point to watch it in the theatre only. Unusal Ending for the movie. I saw it First Day First Show. The thing with most horror movies is that there is no real scope for acting but nevertheless, Tabu is perfect for the role and has given a very good performance. Its virtually her movie as she is there in each and every scene.

Psst -

1) Remake of the 1981 Hit The Entity which was supposedly based on a true life incident.

2) Movie was shot in Kulu and Manali in a record 40 days.

3) Although Lyricist Sameer is credited in the movie, there are no songs in the movie.

4) First Guddu Dhanoa movie which does not star either Sunny Deol/Bobby Deol.

Quotes

1) ''I was Raped.''

Oops

1) After Sanjana returns back to her room one day after the entity raped her, she finds the room in a miserable condition. She finds that the torch still has its lights on. It is impossible for a torch to emit light for such a long period. The battery would have probably dried down by 6 hours.

2) In the final scene when the entity rapes sanjana and goes in the children room, the entire room becomes a mess. When the para-psychologist comes it is spic and clean and the door which Sanjana has broken with the axe is also back to normal.
