I liked Mr. Pranav's interview, I myself reside in Pune. I had called this company at their call centers only once. The person out there said that he would contact when their wiring reaches my area (Senapati Bapat Road), it took them a month but he did contact me back.
At the time and even after the installation, I realised that these Hathway people are idiots for sure, so I was thinking of actually making use of that. Yes they are a bunch of a loosers but they are capturing the market as a fact of the matter. And broadband is something that really doesn't require you to contact those idiots, they are good enough to keep the system going, I'm now a subscriber of HOPP Level3(unlimited time, unlimited data transfer-yearly) and I'm quite happy with the connection as I didn't get to talk to them much.
But yes, if you are not a network wiz, it can be irritating for you, as the technicians out there have hardly got any knowledge over LAN, networking protocols and Linux. Using Linux or windows server 2003 family is a good way to exploit the awesome brains on the server
