Being a huge Harry Potter fan myself and having read all the books in the series, this was one movie that I was eagerly looking forward to. Added to the fact that its being shown at the IMAX nearby heightened by expectations. The first 15 mins of the movie was in 3D at the IMAX movie hall.
It was a different experience and it was fun to watch. The rest 2 hours and 15 mins was painful. The movie had half baked plots, focus was on Ron's love story and it seemed that the movie has turned to a teenage love story. I think J K Rowling would herself squirm at the bad adaptation of her book.
For those who have read this book, this movie was a complete dissapointment. The fact that the books later in the series have become to voluminious to be made into a movie might be one the reason for this poor adaptations. But then its always best to leave the book as it is and not make a movie out of it.
