Mahabali Maharudra. Review on Hanuman

The title may sound a bit too complicated but yes it had to be so..... What else can I write for the divine, powerful and oh so cute (as in the movie) Hanumaanji.

My younger brother is very fond of cartoons and animated movies. This Diwali he came to see me in Bangalore. Both of us were a bit sad being away from home on Diwali. So we decided to watch a movie. He suggested Hanuman and I said yes.

I can divide my review into three parts:

Before the start of the Movie

I saw a huge crowd of children waiting impatiently for the movie to start. I could hear the chants of ''Jai Hanuman'' from their innocent mouths and it was a real pleasure to see the generation of today doing so. Some were even demanding for a little gada which can be seen in the poster in which little Hanumaan is carrying it. In all it was a mesmerizing scene and the enthusiasm was built instantly.

The Movie

The movie is a class of its own. The animations might not be three dimensional or as smooth as the ''Ramayana'' made in Japan, yet they amaze you. Adding to these amazing animations is the fantastic music score by Tapas Relia. Everyone will agree that ''Mahabali Maharudra'' is a very powerful song. I have really found a boost in my courage after listening to the song. The background music is awsome. Be it Akdam Bakdam which is the playtime song of our little Hanumaanji or be it Jai Jai Bajrangbali which is the background score during the chaos in AshokVatika, all the music pieces fit perfectly in the movie. Mukesh Khanna's voice for the older Hanumaanji is perfect for the movie.

Another good thing in the movie is that it doesnot only cover the Ravan Vadh part, it also has mythological contents about Ahiravan. I feel very few kids know about the Ravana from Patal.

I could listen the words from the people. Everyone saying that it is a very good movie. It is indeed a very good movie in my opinion. It is a movie for the theatres.

You will be forced to humm alongwith ''Mahabali Maharudra'' which is played at the end of the movie.

In a nutshell, it is a must watch movie. Not only for children but for all the people as mythology is common to us and them. It is a very innovative way to teach the new age children, the vast and rich mythology. Or rather I would say - A cute, sweet and energizing way to show you your golden mythology.

A very good movie indeed. Go grab your tickets.
