This restaurant is situated at Sion circle which is quite a famous place, and there are many few eating joints around. There is Cinemax besides this place and so this place is always full and the small place can't accommodate more than 50 people.
One good thing is that this restaurant has an A/C section but in this bargain the normal place is sacrificed.
Specialty: North Indian, South Indian, fast food
Special mention should be about the cheese pav bhaji.
Being situated on the circle this place sees a lot of visitors every day, and there are very few good restaurants around the circle. Peninsula is one good hotel around and can be opted if there is waiting time for Hanuman.
The food is served very nicely and the hygiene level is maintained. The food is the highlight here as the food served is very good and upto the mark. Whenever I am in Sion and near by Sion circle I prefer this hotel for lunch or dinner.
Recently this restaurant had been renovated and after the renovation this place looks better and space issue has also been resolved to an extent.
Biriyani as well as pav bhaji was awesome here, and starters too. The one thing that I forgot to mention was that this restaurant is a veg restaurant. There are many veg restaurant around but I feel that this restaurant is by far the best among all of them. Even Peninsula is good, but I still prefer this place. Peninsula is good for South Indian dishes but this place is good for North Indian dishes.
All other gravy dishes too are good and yummy, especially the paneer dishes are quite fresh and tasty.
Food is mind blowing as well the presentation, by presentation I mean the way waiters follow the normal noms of serving. I would say this earns a 3.5 on 5. I would like to rate this 4 but due to lack of presentation I am giving a 3.5.
This place is quite small so there isn't much ambiance and decor, although the place is quite comfortable and spacing between tables too is descent. I would give a 2.5 on 5.
Customer service is very good, the waiters are trained quite well and the way they presented us the food too was good. Quick response and delivery was the key factor here. I would like to give them a 4.5 on 5.
Price is also moderate and won't hurt your pocket much. This place is open from morning 8am till 11pm. There isn't facility of home delivery which is a must these days.
There is no facility of booking a table in advance, so all depends on you luck.
Considering all the aspects, I would say this place is not the best but a good decent place to have lunch dinner. Considering the likes and dislikes I would recommend everyone to visit this place once atleast and after visiting this place do review this restaurant.
The ice cream section is also good and the milk shake section too. All varieties of ice cream are available and the milk shakes too are very good.
Few changes that has to be done maybe would be cutting short the A/C section and extending the normal section.
All in all I would say, this place is worth the money that you pay. If not recommended always, this place can be tried once.
