A buzz about this book, a hype and relentless proliferation in the number of units sold each day passed made me crazy to get it into my hands and thus it lands in my hands.

There are better books and better writers out there! Even if you don't want to read Rushdie or Paulo Coelho there are select few who write contemporary, interesting stories! I'd personally recommend something like  Zero Defect if you want a fast paced, and thought provoking readable.

Let me give you a brief info what all Chetan Bhagat has putten in his book for which he felt smug.

Madhav{portrayed as loser guy}, A girl indeed out of his league and all of one page area dedicated just for the introduction of her and her looks, Guy's love at first sight because of smell of her perfume or any unimaginable reason, His pursuit to get her, Girl eventually falling for him after incessant number of attempts, Again One page dedicated to the love making and the rest part is just a weave around to impress.

I had thought that Chetan Bhagat can't get worse than " Revolution 2020" but after reading this novel, Revolution 2020 was somewhat a better book.

Throughout the novel, He charms you with carefully written description of things. Here’s a gem, ‘the club sandwich, which had a tomato, cheese and lettuce filling.’ Yeah. Wheeww. Great. Thank you very much for telling me such unrequired filling. And, they are downright hilarious as well as keeps humor satiated.

This novel doesn’t even have those cute awwww moments, you see in others? All the scenes are so overdone in books that it make you feel as if they are plagiarized from a source predefined, like girlfriend is reading but the sun is on her, so you block the sun, girlfriend removes a rice grain from your face so you put more grains on it. It’s all cringeworthy. Man are we making 2 States again this has to be something else than that.

This seems as if the same roll has been played again. If you want to enjoy this novel even a bit then I would  suggest you read it thoroughly, don’t pause in between and think what happened, try to read it in two hours then you might enjoy it.
