Chetan Bhagat you beauty, you have nailed it with another romantic novel. Reading this novel is like watching bollywood movie. In 250 pages one can find love, romance, breakup, reunion, fighting. It is a totally masala novel. Chetan exactly knows what kind of content young India wants. Like his earlier novels this novel too is a best-selling.
The story has two leading character- Madhav Jha a poor boy from Bihar and Riya Somani a rich girl from South Delhi. They don’t have anything in common but the basketball. Both of them get into the prestigious college(St Stephen) through the sports quota. They met on a basketball court and starts liking each other and fall in love. Riya wants this relationship more than a friendship but without physical. She called this arrangement half-girlfriendship. Madhav wanted to have physical relation with her, this leads to a breakup between them. Riya married to hotelier and shifts to London. Madhav found nothing in Delhi and he comes back to his village Dumraon and started helping his mother at her school. There they need money to build toilets. As state government was unable to help than Bill Gates from Microsoft appears from nowhere(this part of the story amuse me though) and helped Madhav in building toilets at her mother school. Riya also came in her life again. Now they met or not you have to read the novel.
Language is easy to understand. If someone wants to improve his English than I suggest go for Chetan Bhagat’s novel and you will feel improvement in your English. For me it was a good happy reading experience. and I suggest to all book lover to go for this book.
