If you are looking for some delicious oriental chinese then you cannot find a better place that suits your budget as well as fills your apetite.
Here we are talking about Haka. There are many branches in kolkata. Their food and value for money helped them spread their branches far and wide.
Haka is a new category of Chinese STEAMPOTRESTAURANT, this eatery is from Anjan Chaterji of the very famous Mainland China and Oh! Calcutta Fame. Haka's food items are very popular, preparations are quick and prices are cheaper compared to our one of the favourITES_Company Mainlandchina.
The ambience is cheerful with its vibrant red colour, dark tables and chairs with white plain crockery, complimenting each other perfectly.
Within a very short time Haka has really earned its name since the place was already bustling with people. The food qualities are high and reasonably priced. The clientele includes office groups, families, hip crowd as well as foreigners. The red uniform waiters are attentive and their services are fast too. The food items are great amd portions are generous which is indeed good value for money.
Being a dumpling lover I visit the place to tantalise my taste buds with their authentic dumplings be it vegeterian or non vegeterian.
Steamed vegetable dumplings with chillies and basil or try the non vegeterian dumplingswith chicken chillies and basil, both offer 6 pieces. With little difference in price. Veg comes for a price of rs 165 and non veg is for 195.
I am an all time foodie, visiting Haka means trying their sumptous soups and starters both vegeterian and non vegeterian.
Try the Burnt Garlic Soup or the Eight Treasure Vegetable Soup both for a reasonable rate of Rs.125. For non vegeterian do try the Shangsi Crab Meat and Prawn soup or the Eight Treasure Chicken Soup both for Rs.135.
Now time for vegeterian starters Crispy Vegetables in a sauce of your choice for Rs 215.
And for non veggies try Shanghai Chicken rolls for Rs.165. Also my all time favourite Grilled Crab And Shrimp Cakes @ Rs. 245.
You will definately thank me after tasting them.
Now for vegeterian Main side dish.
Try their Spicy Mushroom And Babycorn In Kung Pao Style combine it with either Stir Fried Rice Noodles With Vegetables @Rs.205 or Burnt Garlic Fries Rice @Rs. 195. They compliment each other really well.
Non-veggies your wait is over now
Try their authentic Chicken In Kung Pao Style @ Rs. 285
Or Chengdu Clay Pot Chicken @ Rs. 285.
You will love their fresh sea food
Do try the Freshwater Betki in Hot Garlic Sauce, Half Or Full @ Rs. 425/745.
Their Wok Fried King Prawns With Fresh Chillies And Cashewnuts are heavenly @ Rs. 335.
It doesnot end here be sure to try their amazing Lamb With Greens In Oyster Sauce @ Rs. 295.
Combine it with noodles or rice
