I have been using HSBC Platinum Visa credit card since 6 months. The Credit limit offered was very less despite having a very good credit score. The customer service has been pathetic. Customer cannot reach to the customer care executive at any cost. Very rarely, the bank offers any discounts and cashbacks. In comparison to other bank credit cards, this one is poor. Despite, mailing the customer care, we will not get reply from them and it is useless to wait for the reply. For an Indian mind, this card offers nothing. This card offers nothing for a minimum spenders. Only good thing is the bank offers 10% cashback initially and this one lapse in 3 month if we do not use the card within the said time. No cash back and discount on paying utility and lic bills. Rate of interest is too high. Along with that, if the payment is made with 1 day delay, the bank charges interest, late payment fee and other taxes. I will not recommend to avail this card. Thanks.
