I wanted to have a printer at home for minor tasks like printing, scanning. So I bought it for a target price <10000. I used it almost on every alternate day to print some pages and scanning a few documents.
The machine was working just fine but the major issue which was noticeable when it was not used for about a week. The ink got dried up and the cartridge got all empty. I needed to get it filled up which was expensive as for printing a few papers, the cartridge was required to fill again!
That was not a good investment. So I would recommend buying laser printer as it uses powder form of ink into its cartridges and no such issues in it. hp is very good brand.
