To,
The Manager,
HDFC ERGO (Health Policy Division),
Mumbai.
Dear Sir,
I had sent my cheque no: 997226, dt: 25.2.2014 for Rs. 16, 300/- drawn on Andhra Bank, New Delhi as advised by Mr. Mangan Lal on 24.2.2014.
Due to non-explanation of the full rules of the company in advance, I had to cancel my health policy and asked for refund of my cheque vide my email sent on 18.3.2014 to Mr. Gaurav Dubey.
I had contacted Mr. Pranav over phone no: 08879667397 around 12 noon on 26.3.14 and asked him about the status of refund of my cheque. He took my mobile no and promised that he will check with the concerned department and let me know by 5 pm. I had waited for the call but no reply was received.
I had again rang up at 12 noon on 27.3.2014 and luckily Mr. Pranav was online and asked me to give me some more time to check with the department for status of refund of my cheque.
To my knowledge - **THIS IS PURELY NEGLIGENCE, LAZINESS AND DELAY TACTICS IN NOT REFUNDING THE CHEQUE - HE COULD NOT ABLE TO GET THE INFORMATION WITH OTHER DEPARTMENT ABOUT THE STATUS OF CHEQUE AFTER 24 HOURS, WHICH IS PURELY DELAY TACTICS.
AT LEAST NOW THE COMPANY SHOULD RETURN MY CHEQUE AT THE EARLIEST IE, WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY OR ELSE I HAVE TO TAKE FURTHER NECESSARY ACTION.*
YOURS,
A.S.R. MURTHY.
