I am a person who loves cars but due to financial constraints and commitments I ve never been able to own one ... For the last few months , When I ever I call HDFC bank customer service for anything they would say "YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PRE APPROVED CAR LOAN UPTILL 5 LAKS , 4 LAKS " the amounth will vary time to time .. then I started receiving calls from the back saying the same . I never use to encourage them . but even I am a human with wishes so I thought of going for used car which is not very old . so I when to Maruti true value showroom and booked an 800 (Even before booking the car I confirmed with Fathima from HDFC Auto loans section that I am eligible for Preapproved loan ) .
Not very long after I reached home, the Rep from the bank called me up asking for documents (we all know how fast they are to make us take money from them ) . I filled the application and gave him all the documents after 30- 40 mins he left . I get a call from the same person . THAT I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE PRE APPROVED LOAN . WHAT THE HECK !!!!!!!!!!. then I called the lady called Fathima who used call me everytime .. and she simply said .. its changed now !! CANT HELP
My wife was so happy that we are going to own a car .. couldnt disappoint her ..... so had to go for other finance options
