Now only a so so card. Review on HDFC Bank Visa Credit Card

Hi all: This is the oldest card I have which started from silver and is presently the maximum privileged one but a few things related to its service is not at all satisfactory. They had a very good my city mini key chain card which can be used in any fuel pumps. They had exciting reward gifts which are no more and requires much higher points to redeem them plus the service charges they take for delivering the gift is could be atleast 50 percent of the price of the gift. Customer care executives often tell different answer for one matter only and many a times they did not act according to our instructions. When asked for some facility they used to simply reject it and all of a sudden without permission reprocess it and one does not know when sudden charges are levied. Though it has been long time that I have not found anything to complain. May be they have upgraded their service or because I am higher value card holder now spending much much more than what I used to before. Being a very faithful and what is called a good customer also the credit limit was not increased on request even when there is never an outstanding accrued. I have not seen a photo card of this bank. Though fuel can filled through any pump without surcharge but minimum is Rs 400/- or so was required whereas in ABN Amro it was Rs.100 & in ICICI it was for Rs. 50/- respectively & you get no reward points on petrol transactions. Before, it had a almost no features such as electronic statement etc but now things are simply wow. Their Platinum card is supposed to be having the least subscription charges but today over the years I never had to pay any subscription or annual charges.
