I was new earner and they were on drive to maximize their sale and through their call I got to know I could get one.I got it with limit of 45000 for minimal fee of 400 I think.It appered good in beginning.subsequently I started getting calls for Subscibing to their Insurance plans, personal loans etc.I didn't get to their tricks .Though After 1.5 years in one call a customer care guy said sir insurance plan is must on this card.Bored of their calls I said what's the offering.He said HDFC Ergo accidental plan worth Rs 6111 /- premius shall get deducted from card itself and by if by gods grace you never fallen an injury your fund shall be refunded.He connected me to HDFC ergo guy with whom he had already colluded and said me to confirm that I wanted the plan.I got cheated here itself.I got their letter of terms and conditions.Their plan was ok but fund Return policy was not there. I called for cancellation but HDFC CC care said they can't.I wrote to them and asked to route my cancellation request to whomsover it might concern.
But they didn't complied.Rs 6111/- remained outstanding post 2 years tenure of insurance plan subscription.Their lie came on surface.I asked for refund but they didn't.I wrote for settlement but they didn't reply for 3 months.Post 3 months and sequence of their 1000 calls & theatening mails regarding spoiling my cibil score I finally paid of approx 9000/- to settle their fraudulent act.Actually I have spoken to their senior management.They say why did you subscribe for plan.They write crispy language, don't accept their mistakes but don't forget to levy fraudulent fees, finance charges BLA BLA.They are literally fooling around general public through their fraudulent calls & offerings and people like us avoid filing any suite etc BUT THEY as an institutioin have hooligans for collections & lawyers to tackle any suits and prove us falls anyways .
I have SBI CC & ICICI card also and those I find better.Using since 1 year and both are in healthy condition.
Ohh.here again giving them a STAR is a must or they would levy finance charges, service tax, late fee, cess HAHAHAHA:)
