Gypsy Corner Fast Food Rocks!. Review on Gypsy Chinese, Dadar, Mumbai

Hi Everyone,

This is my second review on the website with my first review on Sujata Restaurant in Dadar.

Somehow, I have got hooked on to writing reviews about restaurants and fast food joints that have become part and parcel of my life. Gypsy Corner is just one of those.

This fast food joint dates back to my younger college days when I used to hang out with friends at Shivaji Park. Its a good place to hangout.

This place is the place for all kinds of fast food for today's youth. It serves all the fast food you can think of. Bhel, Pani Puri, Idli's , Dosa's all Varieties they have it all.

Junk food yeah... there's the burger, nacho's with baked beans. They also have nice variety of fruit juices although my favourite is cold-coffee. The hot favourite here is the PAV BHAJI. Next up on the fav list is PIZZA. They say no one in this area makes PAV BHAJI like Gypsy. They are also equally famous for the Maharashtrain meal combos which feature Thalipit, Sabudana Wada, bhakri , etc. Other meal combo's include steaming Alu Paratha, Chole Bhatura. Quantity is more than enough and very filling. Speed of service is good.

The fast food joint is located just near the junction of Shiv Sena Bhavan, Dadar(W) towards Shivaji Park. It is open in the mornings and late evenings. Its preferred and frequented by families and youth alike. Weekends , are usually crowded but the management has seating arrangement for everyone.

The place is spacious and we can chose to sit inside or outside near the sidewalk. Ambience is good.

Waiters are very prompt and courteous. Crowd is sometimes hip!

Not at all heavy on pockets.... Parking is also available. They also have home delivery.
