This restaurant is situated on the Baner Road about 1/2 a click from the ITI Road junction. In the days bygone, this used to be a place where one could take the entire family and ejnoy a quiet drink followed by great food.
I still recall the good old days (about a decade or so back) when we all used to visit it not too infrequently. They had just small-n-cozy huts where one could plonk down (maximum 8 to a hut for comfort), order a couple of rounds and then have dinner in peace.
Nowadays, they have used up the additional space to construct a marriage-cum-party hall which is not my idea of a peaceful inner at all. Though the food is still decent enough to eat (not as delectable as it used to be), the whole ambience and peace has gone to the dogs. It has become a favorite haunt of the hardcore boozers who order by the bottle, progressively get noisier and generally make themselves a nuisance to others.
If you do happen to visit this restaurant, ensure that you reach on a day that has no ''marriage muhurats'' and start eating by 2000 hours. Have your drinks with food so that you will finish by 2200 hours at most. Ignore the merry comments around you and leave quietly.
The Tandoori Chicken is still great, but pack it and eat at home. Drinks are quite expensive and you have not means of distinguishing between the remix and the original.
Try Mahabaleshwar instead. Better still ''Nadi Kinara'' in Sangavi. Value for money there.
Happy eating
