Gokarna. Review on Gokarna

After completion of my engineering in 2008, all friends were departing to there respective places in our group one of my friend was from gokarna, he had lots of luggage & we decided to book a vehicle for hs luggage along with him we went for a trip around gokarna. He was very upset as we were very close friends &we used to spend whole day with each others in college & also outside college.we were very attached t each other.

On the way to gokarna you will get sirsi, where there is a famous marikamba temple & the city is surrounded by full of greenery & there very various falls around sirsi, who ever passes through this city they will surely visit this temple.

One thing I liked about the temple is, in various places in the name tribute to various goddess people chop off the heads of bull in front of goddesses & use the blood to pour over the goddess.But it has been banned by animal rights rules but there are any places this practice is going on. But in Siesi in order to maintain the tradition.they have maintained bulls & every year they will remove a little bit of blood from the body of bull not by killing it but by using syringes.

We reached gokarna after visiting sirsi, till now I have not been to gokarna we went to my friends home & unloaded all his luggage & got freshen up, his mom & dad told us to visit the famous temple, that temple s very old & it was huge & crowded & I loved the temple, the tradition maintained over there & also in gokarna almost all families are related too the temple & work as priests, am not saying all but comparatively many.

After visiting temple we were eager to enjoy in beach, we ran to the beach, I dnt knew the beach was few hundred meters frm his home, wow on that day there was low tide we played n the beach for many hours & headed towards a small falls attached to the beach, the water was coming from the hills & was pure we had bath for half an hour & went back to home by this time we were feeling very hungry.

As we reached home Joshis (My friend) mom had prepared various dishes.there were many dishes that we haven't seen & tasted those were the special dishes of that region.We loved the food.it was 3.30 by this time & we went to sleep for about an hour & again headed towards the beach & spent whole evening there.

If you ever get a chance, never miss that chance to go to gokarna & also there are various beaches to visit nearby.
