We bought a Godrej Eon 230 litre fridge about six months ago. The dealer is Adishwar, Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore. From the beginning the refrigerator has been very noisy. There is a constant high pitched noise all the time the fridge is working. This ruins the peace at home.
At night, it becomes unbearable.The outer right side surface used to get very hot. When we complained (ref service call no 934994)to the company, they sent a technician who only took a brief look and certified that the fridge was okay. He said the noise was normal and the heating of the outside surface too. We had never used Godrej fridges before so we could only accept his opinion.
Our old Voltas fridge, even after 15 years had been silent and efficient. We bought the Godrej because we wanted a bigger fridge. Now we are regretting.
