Since it is a typical home made canteen, you have no rate card, no pamper etc. You need to really understand on what they have on offer. I could see a lot of regular patrons who knew what they exactly wanted. The thalis cost Rs. 120 which have 2 veggies, Chapati, one small bowl of fish curry, pickle salad etc.
The fried fish needs to ordered separately as per the catch. I am not sure if the taste is typically Goan, but does come close to the Malvani cuisine with the quintessential sol kadhi. The taste is definitely homely. It has a limited menu. You can choose between king fish, pomfret, clams, prawns, Bombay duck and mackerel.
Thali or Ala carte the dishes are the same. They come close to the malvani version at best. Having said that, the preparations are good and the fish is fresh so no complaints there.
