It was a 4 day tour from kolkata to guwahati, we actually had to visit the famous kamakhya temple and meet our relatives who live in guwahati. Me and my mom has visited guwahati many times and it was not a new experience for us. But I have never gone by go air so this time I choose go air as I got a very lucrative offer from makemytrip on go air.
Our flight was at 12 from the one and only DUMDUM airport and the flight was luckily on right time. But as soon as I got into the flight I was depressed. Though I have never visited with this airlines before, I have checked their several promotional ads and considered it as a more standard carrier. The seats were very uncomfrotable, very little space for keeping legs and no option for free meals as it was low budget airlines. It seemed more like a bus journey to me rather than a plane journey.
Unfortunately we had to return from the same flight and suffered with the same pain again. Ground staffs are very coperative though. My mom forgot her id card so we were worried but the staffs were understood our problem and let us fly with them. They told that her ATM card will serve the same purpose, thanks to them.
Overall I do not like the experience with Go air I had, its just an ordinary airline and not recommend it.
