Globus Cinema. Review on Globus Cinema - Bandra - Mumbai

After a long hectic week I planned to go out for a movie with my friends in Globus Cinema hall which is situated in Hill Road area of Bandra. This theater is quite a few years old and is quite a cozy and comfortable theater. But one of the incidents which occurred with me surprised me.

I am a person who never like going for a movie without booking the tickets in advance, So a day prior to the movie I went to the theater and booked the tickets. Before going to the theater I was trying to call them up and enquire about the availability of the tickets but as usual they weren’t answering the phone. Then I was shocked to see that such a big theater like GLOBUS does not accept CREDIT or DEBIT card for booking tickets. I was shocked with it. As no one carries cash these days as Credit and Debit cards have made life so easy. But then some how I got cash paid for my tickets. Now the movie time, I quickly rushed from my work place so that I don’t miss the starting of the movie but all was a waste. We reached the theater few minutes before time. We were waiting for the crowd to go But till the time we could go into the hall and find our seats What we see that someone was already sitting on our seats, We confirmed it again were we checking the correct seat, Yes we were and someone was sitting there, we checked our tickets with the Ticket Checker but he himself couldn’t understand what is to be done, He made us wait for 10 minutes as he went to recheck with the ticket seller. He came after the movie had begun and at last we got some place to sit in the movie hall. I was aghast with the entire process of managing the tickets, but later I found out that the theater gives its tickets for sale to Black marketers and that was the reason for this confusion in the theater.
