Yesterday we went to buy a TV from GIRIAS. We had done our research on various models and had visited this store and a couple of other stores day-before-yesterday. We just wanted to make a final decision and place the order. We were there at 7 and asked the staff there to play the TV of our choice for us. He turned on the TV but did not give any volume! We asked him to increase the volume so that we can see the performance of the speakers for which he hesitantly increased the volume for about 3 seconds and reduced it again! We
were now not very sure about the model that we wanted to buy. The picture quality was not that great but he said it is because the cable network is bad!!
We asked him to turn on the same Channel in couple of other sets from other companies for which he lost his patience and said he cannot do it!! Finally he did it when the word came through the manager! We asked him if home delivery is free he said No way! I mentioned about Ezone and told him that they are giving free home delivery of TVs he said then you can go and buy from there. We can also give you free home and delivery and also distribute sweets to your family if we charge Rs. 500 more!!! This infuriated us and we just walked out of the showroom deciding never to enter it again!!!
If you are looking for a courteous staff who can explain you all the features of the things that you are planning to buy shelling out few thousands then stay away from GIRIAS!!
