Ghajini - Much Ado About NOTHING!!!. Review on Ghajini - Tamil Movie

I am really surprised everybody claiming that Ghajini is a super-duper hit. It is one of the very boring movies I have seen. Except for Surya, Asin sequences.....movie is annoying to the core. Two clone villains appearing in the second half all of a sudden is the most humorous part of the movie. And nayantara screaming to surya in the climax...''oruthana konna suyanalam...rendu perayum konna podhu nalam'' ...hhhhhaaaaa...no chance!!! ultimate joke (Believe me! whole theatre guffawed).

Being a top business tycoon, surya is not recognized by Police men, Asin's model director or model co-ordinator or someone Manobala and other few prominent characters never recognize suryah...inspite of him being shown as a famous personality....he is even being interviewed by BBC in one scene!!!

And about the medical college student, Nayan Tara's dance sequence in the cultural program....No comments!!! Is there any possiblity in this world for a medical student to dance like that in a cultural program!!!????

In one sequence, Asin is shown as travelling in a train to Mumbai or travelling in a local train in Mumbai (Note that the train as compartments)....uhhhh.....the train looks like our Vaigai/Brindavan express. It looks like Asin & Co. goes to Mumbai in a train without Berth facility....or travel inside Mumbai in local train which has joint compartments (and Military cops in the adjacent compartment).

On the whole, the script lacks focus as to whether it should be a Action movie, Romantic or Humorous movie.

I like surya very much. I have given my neutral view here, not to hurt anyone personally.

On the positive side....

Performance of Surya and Asin are commendable. Asin has all the capacity to be a successful actress. In particular, Asin's acting is just natural while getting hit on the iron rod. No Overdoing at all. She has a flow of humor in her acting.

Surya, as usual, has done his part well.
