In July, I took a whole week off from my work. The reasons were ample, like . A hectic project, A screaming boss, An evercomplaining girlfriend, workload .enough of excuses . infact I needed sometime for myself.
We all want to be alone at a point of time, all by ourselves, do something that is not routine, away from all hassles, and being a Piscean, I need to be alone at times more than others, to rejuvenate myself. So here I was with a whole week off. I had planned many things, like watching my Fav. movies, listening to my music, reading few books, writing a few reviews on Mouthshut, meeting up a couple of friends etc etc, in short.refresh myself for an energetic comeback at work.
On the second day I happened to search an online recitation of Bhagwad Gita for my Mom, who does not understand a word of sankskrit, but still listens to Bhagwad Gita . I dont understand the point but.you can never convince moms, can you?. And while doing that on
Google, I came accross this website, which went on to exhaust all my leaves and many of my plans left unexecuted. This was https://urday.com. Before explaining this website, let me tell you all that religons intrest me a lot. The ethics of religons were always a mystery to me and I always wanted to know, what do religons, other than Hinduism, preach. What is common between them, and what makes every religon dynamically special. This intrest was fuelled when I discovered urday.com. As the punchline goes, it was indeed'A COMPLETE SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE'.
The most striking feature about this website is that it covers all Faiths ie Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam, Cristianity, Jainism, Buddhism, and alsoVaishnavism. A seperate link for every religon and people from all religons can enjoy it. Best for people like
me, who are curious to know about other religons. Every link, ie section(Faith) has a morover common index of contents like, Introduction of the faith, main festivals, profile, sacred days and their relevance. For example, the Sikhism page has **Introduction of Sikh religon, the
profile and history, The TEN GURUS OF SIKHS, DAILY ROUTINE OF THE SIKH, CASTE AND CREED IN SIKHISM, RITUALS FOR CREMATION and many more. Same goes for all religons. Islam page had topics like:-INTRODUCTION, Concept of God, Worship, Purpose of life, Life after Death,

Hold your breath . this is only one part. The site also has other features like ASTROLOGY, KNOWLEDGE OF PAST with intriguing topics like SCIENCE OF SOUND. Another intresting section named 'WHY?' which has answers to doubts and questions we all always had in our minds such as Intercourse: When And Why?, Why Ganesh Is Worshipped First?, Need Of Customs?.fascinating. Another intresting section was the
Dream section. This section explians the significance of different types of dreams and what does a particular dream mean to you, the state of mind and its science etc etc. A section on MEDITATION and you can also download it. AYURVEDA, Vaastu Shastra, HOROSCOPE and many many more.(I am yet to explore this website completely, but I beleive the intrest this has generated in me, will have me complete it very soon)
And Something that Im gonna love to do now. I have a strong feeling that the articles and knwoledge on this site definately gives you a better, if not complete, understanding of people, how and why they behave, the religious implcations in their actions. And thats exactly what Im gonna do. I will be observing my close friends following different religons very closely,
based on what I have gathered on this site. Nothing special about that, but I find it very exciting. Its really intresting to see how religon/Faith sets boundaries for humans, who follow the guidelines and establish a character for themselves . yet, we all are so different. why? hehe no no, dont be scared, Im not becoming a preacher, and this has nothing to do with the website. Im fine, perfectly fine. . Just a thought. It was wonderful, knowing more about the quieter, and a more meaningful side of life . So this can be a refreshing change
from noise, corruption(?), same boring headlines, (hehe, all lame excuses) and the best of all, when you need your own company. Worth a visit.
