When I wanted to host my site, I was looking out for a hosting company that was ICANN accredited and was easy to get in touch with, affordable with easy payment options.
I searched found Diadem Tech (Diadem.co.in), quite suitable. Since their office in Kolkata was located quite close to where I lived, and went to their office, talked with the person who was handling hosting and I found them so supportive that I immediately went ahead with the hosting with them. It has been over 5 years since then, and I have not had any issues at all.
In fact, they go out of their way to support me for any help, it may not be in their service agreement but they help you out. This kind of service is really precious. They have been providing web hosting for around 15 years, and that shows in how they handle my queries.
At least I know that if I need any help, I just need to send them an email and they will attend to it immediately. For instance, I needed help to download my data since I wanted to back up my data. I knew how to do it but somehow I could not get around to saving it. I called them, and they patiently went over the steps with me and showed me where I was going wrong. That was a big help.
