*Hi, this is Amitabha mailing from Bangalore. Couple of days before I used net banking service of my bank to book railway ticket online. After that my nights have gone sleepless. After I confirmed the dates and No. of berths on IRCTC customer page, it asked me for the online payment. Using my debit card, I entered the card number and the bank transaction password.
Immediately after that an amount of Rs1031 was deducted from my bank account but it displayed on the screen that TRANSACTION WITH IRCTC FAILED. Wow! what next? Since then I have been trying to go ahead and contact IRCTC through e-mails and phone calls. I have nearly spent Rs100 on calls just to enquire as to when should I receive the amount to my bank account.
No reply to that so far from them. One morning they credited the amount to my bank account and immediately after that there goes a debit for Rs1031 again towards IRCTC.So the game goes on. Every now and then I keep mailing them giving my bank statements to show them that the amount never got credited to my bank account permanently. But they say that they have credited the amount from their end and the story should be ending over there. But why should we give money to somebody without even taking the service. And is it ever legal for a company like Indian Railways to loot money of common citizens giving them the facility of booking online tickets and after you enter the bank details, your amount is vanished and the transaction will get failed. WOW! India is great and so is the companies. Fck them bastds.
