They are the South India Distributors and Importers. And you will get the best at a reasonably better price as well. Heres some general advice on LPG/CNG kits. Please ensure that the kit LPG/CNG kit is 100% imported. It  makes a difference to the life of the kit and its wear and tear tolerance ratio. Warranty of atleast 1 year should be provided on the kit.

What are the different types of kits available?

  1. Sequential Injection System(Direct Injection System)

This kit is 100% compatible and recommended for all MPFI vehicles as per Company Standard Norms.Uses Direct Injection and is 100% safe and efficient with no damage to engine.

  1. Conventional Method/ Indirect Injection Method) with a 32 Bit Micro Processor.

This kit is not 100% technically recommended but can be fixed in Euro 2 & 3 cars for budget planning.Uses indirect injection which leads to misfiring, jerking etc causing engine damage.

  2. Basic Kit Manual tuning not recommended for any MPFI car. Only recommended for carburetor vehicles. Most vehicles manufactured before the year 2000 were carburetor engine. 4. Can LPG/CNG damage the engine?

Yes, If cheap and ordinary kits are installed in your car, it will damage the engine.

Only sequential injection kits that are 100% genuine and imported will not damage your vehicle in LPG.

You might ask “why should I fix imported kits when there are numerous manufacturers in India”? Doesn’t India manufacture the same thing? Unfortunately, most kits manufactured in India are not as good in quality as the imported one.

You might have heard that a lot of LPG & CNG cars have high maintenance, engine damage, fire accidents, Mis-firing, Jerking, Back-firing, Improper pickup etc.

This is because of the following reasons:

  1. Low quality equipment compromising safety of the passenger and vehicle damage.

  2. Untrained technicians/mechanics.

  3. Incompatible equipment being fitted in cars.

Example: All Ford cars are only compatible with Sequential Injection. If conventional kits are installed in Ford vehicles or in K-Series or Kappa Series, then the vehicle will get completely damaged and the kit will have to be thrown away.

  1. Non calibrated equipment.

I wish fixing LPG or CNG in your car was as simple as getting clothes in a discount sale or like buying a china mobile for a few thousands. Bargaining for cheaper stuff makes us all feel good. I love it too when I get something in a sale at 50% off.But dont bargain your life.

I will just put it in simple words. If you want to fix LPG or CNG in your car fix Sequential Injection Technology which suits MPFI vehicles 100%. Or drive in petrol. Closed loop kits, open loop kits are just not right. After fixing these conventional kits like closed loop etc, you are exposed to facing problems like mis firing, backfiring and even fire accidents. Frequent tuning will also keep you busy.

MPFI stands for Multi Point Fuel Injection system.

All MPFI vehicles have a motherboard called ECU or Engine Control Unit .In a MPFI engine there are 46 basic sensors. These sensors capture data depending on your speed of the car, load Example: If one person is sitting(Less fuel intake) and when 4 people are sitting(More fuel intake), elevation as to whether you are going uphill(More fuel intake) or downhill(less fuel intake), un-burnt fuel wastage(Through silencer) etc and based on various other factors like these, the motherboard decides how much fuel needs to be injected into the firing chamber. Your vehicle’s fuel requirement varies every Giga Second.

With sequential injection, it works simple like a parallel mechnism to MPFI.

In petrol the technology is called MPFI. The diesel the same technology is called CRDI and in Gas the same technology is called Sequential Injection.

Just because your car is a maruti 800 or an alto, that doesnt mean it is not a mpfi car. Every single car in india is 100% compatible only with sequential injection. Don't put ordinary kits and compromise on your safety and damage your cars engine. "We get a lot of choices in life, but its up to us to make the right one" I hope this article gave some of you a insight into the subject and helps you make the right decision.

Please visit my website and read the Frequently Asked Questions section. We have converted Maruti 800 to Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi etc, you can see the photo gallery with sequential injection system installed in every single model.
