So, you plan to invest your hard earned money in a set of wheels? Lets me say its a good choice, but the point is, there are a hell lot of choices involved in that.

LOOKS: Looks can be a great factor when the car that you purchase is for showing off a status symbol. Did you know, there are people who prefer the Mahindra Classic(The topless 4 wheel drive) over a BMW, as it really gives a macho look and makes the person looking at you, think that you are bold enough to face almost everything.
My personal favourite - The Palio Sport
MILEAGE: More and more people are looking into this fact about the car as so many choices are opening to the consumer. This is a major factor to save money when it comes to costs per travel.
My Personal Favourite - Maruti 800
AFTER SALES SERVICES: Just like you'd like to cut costs on the fuel that the car consumes, you'd also like to cut on the services that a car would require and if an accident has to happen, how fast can one get the vehicle back in shape.

SPEED / PICKUP: There is a difference between speed and pickup. Where speed refers to the top speed that a car can reach, the pickup refers to how fast can the vehicle get there. In the F1 races, the Ferarri is faster than the McLaren, however the McLaren has a faster pickup.
