As it is titled at Mouthshut, it is not the “Garnier Lite” now, it is called “Garnier Light”. I had never used any of the products of Garnier thus far and very recently a small Sachet of the Garnier Light cream was given complimentary with an issue of Tamil Magazine “Kumkumam”. Being a regular reader of the magazine, I got the complimentary sachet – u know I am already fanatic about trying new things…… so decided to try this moisturizing cream…!!

The crème is in a shining white color. The cream is pretty thick and is certainly not sticky

= = = Fragrance = = =

I could smell the mild lemon fragrance of the cream on opening the sachet itself. The fragrance is very mild and refreshing. The first day I had applied the crème, I could feel the mild lemon fragrance throughout the day.

Normally I am a bit allergic to heavy scents but though the lemon fragrance was lingering with my nose all through the day, the odor was very very gentle that it didn’t have any impact even on my sensitive nose.

This is definitely worth a mention. I am a regular user of Lakme Moisturizers and maximum for about 5 hours the Lakme crème generally works on my face and then the face gradually starts getting dried up. But to my surprise, the Garnier crème worked on my face for almost 10 hours more or less until I reached home!

I find that regular use of Garnier Light has given my face a natural glow and the crème always retains the moisture of the skin for longer hours. Other noticeable impact of the crème is that, on application, I generally find that even the minute dry patches on my face get vanished and the face gets a healthy moist look.

Pros:

•Retains the moisture of the skin & gives a noticeably great radiance to the skin

•Smoothes the skin

•Doesn’t produce an oily look even on oily skins

•Mild / Pleasant Fragrance of lemon

•Crème is thick & little application is sufficient and hence the crème lasts longer

Cons:

•Requires a deep massaging into the skin – like many other moisturizing creams, just a simple application is not enough

Now I am a regular user of this magic crème and being totally satisfied with the product, I do recommend the Garnier Light (Fairness + Dark Spots Prevention) daily moisturizer to all my fellow MSians……..

Why such a short review from me………… I need to absolutely rush quickly to purchase a new bottle of Garnier Light now as my sample pack has got over……. Where are you rushing too….. to get yourself a bottle (I mean the Garnier Light Bottle…!!)
