I went to watch the movie thanks to the music, which was really appealing. Unfortunately the movie is a let down. It's a weird love triangle, weird because one point of the triangle is really not in love to begin with.

Acting wise Emran is as usual like a block of wood, his character could have had more passion. He comes across as part of the furniture.

Shiney has his excellent moments, which he ruins with his overacting. His dialog of ''Mein tumhare bina marr jaunga'' made everyone laugh, when he should have brought people to tears. He has the capacity to be a great actor, but he needs to control the overacting bit.

Kangana is good for a beginner, she is perfectly comfortable in front of the camera, and she is the main focus of the movie. Unfortunately she also does a bit of overacting. She sounds drunk even when she is not. At times she comes across as not involved, but she has her good moments as well.

The plot is really a sorry one. A character like Daya is shown as someone capable of falling in love and not getting jealous. Its not a true to life character.I think the writer wanted to show a human side to the gangster, but what we get is a silly man who kills as if it is natural to do so, and then is a sensitive guy to his lady love, and an orphan child whom he adopts.

When Daya is betrayed by Simran, Shiney does a good job of bringing out emotions. Not his fault that the character is shown weeping more than even the lady love!!!

Simran seems artificial, when she meets Daya, its as if he walked in with flowers rather than a gun.

The movie ends on a weird note, it's as if the gangter and his lady reach heaven only because they love each other. It makes no sense at all. Its like he did no crime, and she was totally innocent. The fact that he killed people, they did not trust each other enough, she betrayed him, all these things are thrown out of the window.

Some of the dialogues are really terrible, harking back to days when the lady in the movies was only meant to be raped and killed. Grover adds a punch to the dialogs, which anyone else would have made look vulgar.

the only two good things about this movie are the camera work, which really make the movie look good, and the soundtrack which will last longer than the memory of the movie. You can forget the movie as you are watching it.
