The answer to the question, that lingered in our minds ever since the end of season 5 - Will Jon Snow come back to life? - a question as important as "Why Katappa killed Baahubali", lies in this episode. So the theories of Jon Snow's resurrection can now be put to rest. The latest episode that aired at 7.40am IST on Hotstar(India) came with its share of shocks and surprises. This episode was on par with the Red Wedding and will be remembered for a longgg time, last 5 minutes were breath-taking. Had Melisandre set her priorities straight and focused on resurrecting Jon Snow instead of her sagging breasts, we could've witnessed this epic moment in the episode 1.

Chances are that Jon Snow's conscious lived in the Ghost while he was dead and it was transferred back when Jon started breathing again.

The episode starts with a grown-up Bran Stark in training with the three-eyed raven which gives a peek of Hodor's origin story. Finally, we have a glimpse of the sorcery that brings Bran's story on track and in a way realizes his importance in the grand scheme of things. His latest vision gives a flashback of Winterfell where boys Ned and Benjan Stark banter with their sister Lyanna Stark, who in her adulthood will change the story of seven Kingdoms. We also learn that Hodor's real name was Willis and he could speak as well as wield a sword. So what really happened to Hodor? We'll have to wait it out for this mystery to unveil.

Meanwhile in Meereen, Tyrion Lannister wins over the dragons and unchains them. The smartest character in the series, who was on a road journey with Jorah previous season, has been put to a clever use.

Mountain is just getting started as he kills the man who had waggled his man-parts at Cersei during her walk of shame.

Arya Stark, the blind urchin gets invited back into the House of Black and White after her face-off with the Waif and Jaqen H'ghar.

This episode also sees the death of two characters - Balon Greyjoy and Roose Bolton.

Ramsay Bolton knifes his father, feeds his step-mother and half brother to the hounds for he wants to be the only child. As prophesied, Balon Greyjoy is killed by his brother Euron on a rope bridge in the Iron islands.

Now, lets talk about the third episode preview, which shows a young Ned Stark facing off against Arthur Dayne at the Tower of Joy. Tower of Joy is where Jon Snow was born, as per fan's predictions i.e R+L=J

If the theory proves to be true, then Jon Snow is a Stark and a Targaryen(The Song of Ice and Fire). That also means he is one of the three  heads of the dragon riders with a legitimate claim to the iron throne. Interestingly, episode three has been named'Oathbreaker' which according to fan theory may focus mainly on Jon Snow since his death nullifies his oath to the Night's Watch that he would “wear no crowns and win no glory”.
