Friends play a very important role in our lives. The neighbourhood friends, the college friends, the family friends and most importantly the childhood friends.They are undoubtedly the most precious of them all.These bonds that are formed at such an innocent, pure stage of life are the most cherished.
The book deals with the story of of five friends -Gabby, Billie, Izzie, Andy and Sean who meet at their Kindergarten for the first time on the first day of the school. They become best of friends, grow and learn together.Though each of them is different in personality and likes, they lean on each other for their good and bad times.
And then their ambition takes them to different directions, to different field where the challenges of life are even more harsher. It is the story of their lives where difficulties challenge them, their fight, their survival and of course love and relationships.
However the end leaves you with a mixed feeling-happy and sad. Danielle Steel's yet another good work.I must say it is a lot different from her other creation. The plot is unique and the story is engaging. So even if you are not a fan of the Danielle steel's usual romantic creation; read this book, and you would surely enjoy it. and if you are already mad about her books I dont think I need to recommend it.
