Visited Ford showroom last weekend. checked on the new Ikon - It was a paprika red car staring at me. first looks u can make out that bonnet and front grill has been changed for better! going around the back doesnt show any new design apart from the new rear lights design and a crome strip on top of number plate… however, the solid feel of Ikon is still present I didnt notice that any compromise has been done on the interiors or exterior. infact I felt good once I was inside.
(I drive a swft vxi) so I was bit skeptical about leg room etc.(I am 6.1 and most of the cars in sedan doesnt suit as steering touches my lap or legs.) But Ikon was not so bad in leg space etc as I had initially thought…
Rating 1-5(1-Low 5 High)- Build quality - 3.5, Engine - tried and tested Rocam Engine- 3.8(will not give more than 12kmpl in city and max 15-16 on highways) Interiors - 3.8 value for money -3.9( I know diff ppl have diff opinions on this)
More over 2 years/1lac KMS factory warranty+ extended warranty an option What more one needs? My next car would be a Ikon how abt urs?
