We started our hunt for a car sometime in Dec 2004.We had decided that we would first go for a second hand car.Since me and my husband both were first time drivers
everyone suggested to go for a second hand car.And obviously Maruti was the first choice.
Our critieria
1) C - segment car -- small car like wagon-R or Santro (so called a Tall man's car) didnt look good to my 6.3 ft tall husband ;)
2) In our budget 3-4 lakhs.
3) Appearance /low maintainence.
We decided getting a new car when we felt we could stretch our budget for a lakh and could get New car.
Our first choice on C segment was TATA Indigo and the FORD FLAIR( anniversary model)
we went for a test drive for both the car's .But Ford won in terms of looks,interiors and sofistication.
In March 2005 we bought the car.Almost one year now we faced just one problem with the AC .Which we got replaced as was under warranty.
Else we havent had any problem with the car till date.
Driven in a city like banglore we get an milleage of about 11 KM.
