Ikon 1.8D, ..... great handling, great mileage, gud leg room, comfortable and well designed seats...solid braking....well insulated..no vibrations...inside cabin ....overall great value for money.
In city like Delhi it gives 14+ km/l with AC, and on highways driving at 100-110kmph it easily gives 17-18 kmpl. real fuel efficient car.
In one year I ve done 50,000 kms on it....1st n 2nd gear a lil sluggish as all diesle cars do, but then it runs fast....top speed 160-165 kmph.
At high speeds, the car comes down....making it more stable
.I drove this car from Delhi to Goa.......delhi to nagpur....and it runs great on ghats...
servicing is costly at Ford dealer. Get it done from a gud outside mechanic...then its real cheap as it only needs engine oil and filters to be replaced.
bad thing...now this car is discontinued.....
