There was a time when Flipkart was pioneer in customer service and focus. They have sometime gone beyond to make customers happy. But those days are simply gone.
Recently I ordered a Moto E & other items from Flipkart and made payment. It was even send for delivery by "Blue Dart". But at last moment, Blue Dart denied to deliver on the address saying it "Out of delivery area". Mind you other items are delivered to same address(sent through SpeedPost). Now, couldn't Flipkart send though courier that delivers to given address?
Even if I consider for that Flipkart is not liable, but I though Flipkart will be responsible enough to send it through some other service or atleast call me to allow me an alternative address? They just cancelled it, I hope I will atleast get the refund. When called customer care executive asked me to order again. But all those discounts and offers are not available.
Is this a new strategy that Flipkart came up with? Lure people with discounts and later cancel the discounted orders. Did they send other items by SpeedPost to be delivered and discounted by Service which will not deliver? So they make sales on those items(phone accessories, useless without phone) and not discounted items. Also, its not guaranteed yet that I will get back my Refund.
Update: Flipkart customer care was useless and of no help, talked with indifference with no intention to help. But, "Blue Dart" atleast showed some courtesy and held the package for a day. That allowed me to pick it from their location.
