5 Disasters of small screen!

Small screen was at one time people's solution to avoid going to theatres to catch something to get entertained in the comfort of home. However now, that's a thing of the past. To pass time in the comfort of home on small screen can be a disastrous experience, especially with dud after dud serials showing up. If one is game enough to follow them and waste a heck lot of energy plus about a guzillion years of their life, best of luck to them. I kick start my list here where the list comprises of both soap operas and talk shows. Unfortunately disasters like HEENA, KUTUMB, and KOI DIL MEIN HAI don't make it here since this list is about THIS YEAR. Don't worry, still there are many to list!

NUMBER 5---------BATLIWALA HOUSE NUMBER 43: Since number 5 here in worst category means the best of the lot, I can easily say that talk shows come towards this area since they are at least not a never ending saga and entertain somewhat more realistically than soap operas. Batliwalla is one pathetic serial. No doubt. But still it is the best of the worst. Not to defend its poor quality in anyways though, one has to say that the jokes in this so called ''comic'' talk show are baseless and childish. Ace director Kunal Kohli, Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant, CID team, and most of all, Saif Ali Khan, are the most prominent people to have featured on the show. The common thing of them all in the show is that in their respective episodes, all show via their expressions how much they regret to be on the show. The host, Shahrukh Batliwala is just an insult to the name Shahrukh since he cracks baseless jokes about himself and his parents all the time. Saif and Shivaji Satam stood out to me as two people who were apparently in big time anger and sometimes were even cynical to respond to the pathetic jokes of the hosts. Only a few episodes of this one have been bearable at best. The rest are retarded. But there is a good part, one can know in the trailer itself if any of their liked star is going to show up. If yes, then catch it for baseless fun and for that decorated star, or else don't even reconsider the decision to skip it!

NUMBER 4---------SAB KUCH HO SAKTA HAI: This program is Sajid Khan's ticket to Sony TV after he established himself with ''Ikke Pe Ikka'' on Zee! Unfortunately his follow up in Sony isn't half as comical and hilarious as the former. The latter show focuses more on gay jokes as well as maligning people's personal lives directly. While the former had some commentry on movies as well as realistic interviews of movie stars, this one features Sajid as a guest celebrity all the time with his gay-dressed interviewer always asking him gay questions. They both do disgusting things on the show to malign respectable film personalities? Well do they malign respectable people. Well I don't know but the last time I saw the poor Upen Patel and Shaad Ali were bashed like crazy as much as I'm sure they won't wanna catch that episode at all. However, that program wasn't only offensive to the people in question and their loyal fans, but also to the majority of the public who follow such stupid talk shows. Sajid is really getting out of hand and how he gets permitted to do so on small screen is a mystery. Film industry deserves respect rather than malignation especially from Industry's duds like Sajid who can only act like puppets in movies like Main Hoon Na (catch the song Gori Gori's beginning and that's where!)

Overall a pathetic serial with no substance at all. It started this year and deserves to go off this year too.

NUMBER 3---------YEH MERI LIFE HAI: This program hams to the hilt. First of all the only good actor and hero in the program was the character of Ashmit Malhotra, played by the suave and dashing Rahil Azam. Now that he's removed for unknown reasons and a very unlike him replacement is brought, the character is stale and ofcourse the rest of the people were already stale. Story, scripting, everything is pathetic! The protagonist Pooja dreamt of becoming a movie director one day. All of a sudden today she dreams of getting two of her friends married. Doesn't that screenplay tell you that the viewer's intelligent is just taken for granted here. Please people start skipping these serials and start hammering this in your heads that such serials are made to make the person feel retarded I guess. I don't know what sort of thinkers the directors are. Anyways the fun just begins here as this is only the second runner up. Still we have two places to go for before reaching the winning post.

NUMBER 2---------KKUSUM: This should've won the number 1 in this category for lasting about 7 pathetic years. But since we're here being a little more kind towards somethings, I got more thoughtful. Another serial to me was more unbearable so I put this one in the runner up spot. Why Kkusum isn't the MOST unbearable? Well the pathetic situations in this one, ones made for the ''stupid'' audience to cry on, crack you up with their hilarious execution. Actors like Abhay and his brothers and father in the program make you just laugh your stomach out. What with the only good person in the serial, Kshitij, having parents that look as old as his friends. It is just pathetic to appreciate such a serial in terms of content, but since such pathetic things I time manage to unwillingly give the stressed out audiences a laugh, one can not put Kkusum as the most unbearable. Still a big time dud on the runner up place, a serial having absolutely no meaning at all!

NUMBER 1-------JASSI JAISSI KOI NAHIN: Okay people. We have reached the winning post. The award goes to none other than JJKN. Okay what a pathetic serial this is. I won't comment on its initial stages where Mona Singh acted like a retard. More than her retarded personality, her retarded behavior by far stood out for being irritating. Add to the mix Mr. Armaan Suri, our own slacker of all time Apoorva Agnihotri. I think this guy should quit sometime soon. He used JJKN initial popularity to come back on screen with LAKEER, a dud of a movie in which he deserved the stupid role he got. He is a non actor who couldn't even succeed after working with SRK and Subhash Ghai in his debut film. How can a pathetic soap opera director help him? Poor show, even the rest of the cast, even good personalities like Parmeet Sethi and Rakshanda Khan are made to act like retards infront of the so called ''protagonists'' like Jassi and Armaan! More so, this program isn't unwillingly funny like Kkusum either. Here you can't helplessly laugh in your seat on baseless elongations and U-turns of the serial. Here you are rather helpless from getting up and feeling like smacking someone in their head for making such a pathetic serial. This program almost ended in May this year but Jassi's identity took a long time to come out. Wow. Even a mother cannot recognize her daughter who just made up her face. Wow what a pity. Look at the lawyer asking her to prove her identity in all the stupid ways possible. My dear, why is DNA test here today? Why are you always forcing the scientists to cry on the uselessness of their discoveries. It is just like buying a cell phone for communicating and then forgetting it at home everytime. Then this program should've ended last week with the Jassi-Armaan wedding. But no. Vikas Bhalla saahib had to show up to do his part and break the retarded bond up. Now we have Jassi all dressed up in wedding clothes and traveling to the 70s songs in old trains. What a pathetic way of direction. This program should be lifted off T.V. so that people stop draining their minds further on such mindless serials. Surely the award winner in this category.

We have arrived the winning post,
