Hi! As u all know I am pretty new here, just about a month old. So, for me it's very difficult to decide the 5 best reviews on Mouthshut. In fact this is a very very difficult topic for anybody to write on and the argument will continue forever.
Anyway, even though I am new and haven't read many reviews, still couldn't stop myself from giving in to the temptation of writing about the 5 reviews that I thought are the best I have read so far.
I am sure I don't need to write the Disclamer! That the choices made are mine and I am sure that there will be many who'll disagree with me. But that is how it is supposed to be anyway, isn't it? I must say imran is pretty smart, he just wrote about his own 5 best reviews! I wish I could do that too, only I have just 13 so far!
Ok..let's start (THESE REVIEWS ARE IN A RANDOM ORDER)
a) YAWN -- Art On Bargaining by DiFranco01.
We all love to bargain, don't we. But only she can point out the finer (or not so finer) points of bargaining!
Some very good and helpful points there which help you not only save money but also teach you to observe the things you buy more closely!

b) A Red Wine -- Chantilli Wine by arunroy
What an amazing review. I mean was that a review or what? Mr. Arun just gave us a crash course in Wine appreciation! I love wine, now after reading the review, I've started to view every glass of wine I drink with a different perspective altogether, and believe me, it's fun!

c) 50 runs in 27 balls -- Writing reviews on Mouthshut by s_imran80.
Imran is a wonderful writer and all his 50 reviews (with a few exceptions) are exceptionally brilliant and inspiring. The review on Pepsi was also pretty good but I didn't choose it to stay away from any kind of controversy!
This 50th review of his is very well thought of and very nicely laid down and spells like an almanac on 'How to write reviews'!

d) Tens and some more -- 10 Best Authors by jilmil.
Books being my favourite pastime, it was but natural for me to choose at least one of my favourite reviews from this section. But Oh my god! I just couldn't decide! There were so many wonderful reviews that my head started spinning and after much deliberation and thinking, I thought this review was the most interesting and informative. Ranjran's recent review on 5 best books is also equally good but I chose this one because this is 10, that's 5! Pallavi has, in a very systematic and concise manner, put down the ten authors she likes and though I don't agree on her choice of 3 authors, still it gives me a lot of information about the authors whose works I haven't read and which I should read. Just 2 points here though to Pallavi...I didn't know Wilbur Smith had written a book with the title similar to John Grisham's...and two that Sidney Sheldon is a male and not female!

e)Phew, the last one, finally. I know u guys are going to kill me for this, but one review which I really enjoyed reading was It's a Sixer! -- Lagaan by myself!
Sorry, but I had to mention my name as well! I thought I wrote the review pretty well, just the way it should be. Reviewing the movie Lagaan was unneccessary as there is hardly anybody who has not seen it. What was important was to write an interesting review not only about the movie but also about it's fate at the Oscars. I think I did a fair job of it by trying to put a little humour into it. And what really really made me happy was the reactions, comments and the ratings I got from you all. Thanks!

Once again, let me tell you that the above reviews are just 5 of the 100's that I simply loved and it was really difficult to choose. I know some of you will be upset because you have written nice comments about me and are also great writers. Please, understand my situation, it was a really difficult review. Let me thank a few of the reviewers here at MS whose reviews I really like :
